About Cryptocarya glaucescens

Cryptocarya glaucescens is a common canopy tree in the rainforest areas of Royal National Park. It is found mainly around the Hacking River and Bola Creek, and in nearby gullies. It is also seen once you get higher on the coastal slopes toward Otford.

In Sydney, Cryptocarya glaucescens seems to only be found north of the Parramatta River.

Cryptocarya glaucescens can be distinguished from Cryptocarya microneura by the concave midvein, dusty undersides and less curved lateral veins.
